With over 135 suicide deaths per day in the US, it is important to be able to recognize when a friend or family member may be struggling with thoughts of suicide.
Knowing when to ask, “Are you thinking about taking your life?” is an important first step in helping someone. This presentation will help provide participants with the information necessary to possibly save a life.
Samaritans is a suicide prevention and postvention (after a suicide death) center serving the northeast area of MA since 1980 and a program of Family Services of the Merrimack Valley, which is a social service agency with over 20 different programs serving the Merrimack Valley.
