Join Wee the People to learn and participate in this empowering program! What is jazz? Where did it come from? And what can jazz teach us about Black traditions of freedom and resistance? In this kid-powered, music-filled workshop with Wee The People Boston, we will swing, scat, and get into storytime exploring the lives and music of great jazz icons. Get ready to improvise, syncopate, and celebrate the genius of Black folk who birthed America’s music — a sound of innovation and radical disruption.
Ages 6-12
