Join Katie Greer, former Director of Internet Safety for the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, to learn how to help keep your family healthy and safe while using technology.
WML's Parent Book Club is wrapping up our current read: The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt on February 11. We are now bringing in internet safety professional, Katie Greer, to give practical tips and information on how to keep you and your family safe online.

From there, she transitioned into working with the Massachusetts State Police as an Intelligence Analyst. Greer has been a keynote speaker on USA Today, TIME Magazine, Good Housekeeping, Parents Magazine, the Meredith Vieira Show, the O'Reilly Factor, CNN, Inside Edition and more. She's also a contributor to ModernMom and an advisory board member on the Internet Keep Safe Coalition.
She has helped shaped the minds and policies of hundreds of thousands of students, parents, and people across North America and has spoken at schools and universities big and small. She's advised governments agencies and global corporations as they develop their own policies. Greer says, "Now pursuing my Ph.D in Criminology with an exploration on teens and the internet, I'm determined to push our lopsided relationship with technology to one of balance. I recognize that my message could positively shape someone's life outlook, and it's a responsibility I take seriously. I want every household in America to have the education and tools to manage technology in healthy way."
