Spanish Fun Program: Day of the Dead Celebration

Stewart RoomJoin Spanish Fun Program for a heartfelt celebration inspired by one of Mexico's most cherished traditions.
Families are invited to bring a picture of their loved ones for a craft keepsake!
Through immersive storytelling, families will follow the story of a butterfly and beloved family. Children can wear monarch wings and adults carry colorful paper butterflies, attendees will create a beautiful ofrenda (altar) with cempasúchil flowers, glowing candles, family photographs, sugar skulls, and special offerings to welcome loved ones with love. Surrounded by vibrant papel picado, music, and fluttering butterflies, we'll sing, dance, share traditional Pan de Muerto (Bread of the Dead) and Mexican hot chocolate to celebrate the beautiful belief that those we love live forever in our hearts.
