Participants will learn about African wrap dolls from staff from the National Black Doll Museum and create a doll to take home. Materials will be provided. All Ages.

Discover the signature workshop of the National Black Doll Museum of History & Culture: *The Art of the African Wrap Doll*. This cherished family tradition, passed down for generations in the Govan family and brought to life by founder Debra Britt, celebrates creativity, history, and imagination.  

Using recycled materials in innovative and unconventional ways, participants are empowered to craft their own one-of-a-kind art piece. Perfect for all ages, this workshop is more than an activity—it’s an inspiring journey into culture and self-expression.
